A user installs a virtual machine having exactly the same operatin system and browser versions as on his host machine.
Suppose now he creates 2 profiles on a given website relying only on browser and OS fingerprinting to identify users having multiple accounts to ban them. The first profile is created on the host machine and the second one on the VM.
My question: will the website succeed to identify the 2 profiles as belonging to the same user ?
