Is Acronis True Image 2015 encryption safe?

I'm wondering how safe is to use Acronis' backup with their encryption protection, which goes up to AES-256. I've got bitlocker protected system drive and a TrueCrypt protected data drive. I'm backing everything up to another TrueCrypt protected drive. But I also want to back up the backup drive itself (like, once a month or so). That backup will be on a public FTP (company-wide) and I'm wondering how safe it is to actually use the Acronis Encryption, because no matter how much I've protected all my data, if the Acronis encryption fails, everything will be compromised.

Does anybody know whether it is safe to use, and/or if I should look into other options?

I'd ask Acronis directly, but their site is full of bugs and refuses to allow me to send a support ticket.
