What is the difference between "TLS" and "NETLOGON Secure Channel" authentication?

I would like to make sure what is the difference between "TLS" and "NETLOGON Secure Channel"(using signing and encryption) authentication?

I know that TLS is aka SSL and I know that NETLOGON secure channel uses signing and encryption. Is it the same? Is one of the two is less secured than the other one?
