What legal protection is afforded for email in transit?---- ---------It seems to me that emails in transit is offered less protection than emails that has already been stored on server, which is protected under Stored Communication Act. (Is it the Wiretap Act? It has a higher standard of protection than SCA and it covers electronic communications but I remember I was told that emails not arrived or not delivered have less legal protection. How come?
