Before I get started I would just like to say; I just got finished performing a "Gut Man Wipe" via "DBAN" on my 500 gig hard drive, I plan on installing windows 7 and Kali Linux, possibly Ubuntu as well (side by side, multi-boot). I would like to install GRUB, Boot Partitions, and Boot loader on a flash drive. so when I press the power button it would boot straight to windows without GRUB. Also with full Disk encryption. For windows I can use PGP desktop partition encryption on the system drive and delete the windows reserved partition. I have been doing some reading on "Protecting a Laptop from Simple and Sophisticated Attacks by Mike Cardwell" as well as the "The paranoid #! Security Guide".
My question is: How can I hide partitions from things like Gparted and run a multi-boot with Kali, Ubuntu, and Windows 7 and partition them properly with EVERY partition encrypted? I don't think i have to take measure on "cold Boot" attacks and "evil maid" if i have grub on a usb? I read about Tressor for Ubuntu but what about windows?
Goal: Turn on laptop Type in bios power on password Enter PGP disk encryption password Have it boot straight to windows Have it show grub if usb is plugged in encrypt every partition proper multi-boot etc...
I just need a little help on how to put GRUB on USB and what else to put on it and how to partition the USB for booting GRUB via USB.
