I'm currently working on securing an Android device for a project, and I need to study every possible way to attack, since this Android device can contain very sensible data I can't only rely on antivirus or cyphering software. I've work some years on smartcard developpment where there are plenty of possible attacks to extract information out of the chip, and especially laser attacks. I was wondering if such attack can be executed on mobile (Android for my case), and is there any evidence or research that have been made to achieve that goal. For example may an attacker use some laser fault injection to by-pass Android password? I'm not talking here about PIN or smartcard relative attack, since I do know what kind of attack can be possible; I'm talking about mobile hardware attack such as RAM or CPU injection.
Is there anything I can do to reduce efficiency of hardware attack?
PS : I know for a total security solution, a standard mobile phone may haven't be used.
