Recommendations for implementing TLS/SRP

Is there any recommended flow (choice of OS, packages to use) if i want to implement TLS/SRP?

i am having a lot of problems with installing on windows. I also tried using dual-boot and installing virtual drive but when i tries to compile those linux packages it always had some errors.
